History
1932
Tokujiro Nomoto succeeded in manufacturing hardened and tempered high carbon steel strip for safety razors and coiled springs in Japan that had been import products before this.
He founded “Nomoto Manufacturing Co.,Ltd”.
1937
Changed the company name into Osaka Heat-treatment Co., Ltd. Opened a new rolling mill, and developed the organization as an integrated rolling and heat quenching manufacturer for special steel strip.
1946
Resumed business in postwar times, with the production of band saws, steel tapes for tape measures and dropper materials for looms, etc.
1950
The second President Tomiichi Nomoto took over management, and advocated the 5S policy based on a new management philosophy which emphasized product diversification and the development of human recourses.
1961
Tokyo sales branch was opened.
1967
Introduced modernization into the facilities. Gained a good reputation in the industry through manufacturing of hardened and tempered steel strip, cold rolled special steel strip, with the development of loom components (flat heald), of constant force springs required for automotive components, house appliances, industrial tools and machines.
Tokyo factory was founded as the production site for hardened and tempered steel strip with thin-thickness.
Consolidated production of Tokyo factory into the main factory in Nishinomiya.
1971

1989
Eiichi Nomoto participated in management of the company, and the medium-term management plan was implemented. Launched manufacturing the wrapping carriers in high-precision processed components for semiconductors, and the blades in crystal oscillator industry as new project introduction.
Tokyo sales branch was moved to the current location.
Invested into the joint venture in Taiwan, Phoenix Heat -Treatment CO.,LTD, as a base for starting oversea operations.

Consolidated production of the joint venture in Taiwan into the main factory in Nishinomiya.
